Thanks. In fact this is what I've been doing so far. I use ftp to
download from SunSite in Switzerland. However, I cannot find xc-libs -as
you mentioned in a previous post- and cannot find Xaw, Xmu, ... libs.

I would advice to use source tarballs from Cygwin/XFree86 ftp server.
CVS code is always a developemnt code and may have a lot of broken stuff
and
bugs

Thanks very much. Robert Collins just noted that I have to access
XFREE86 thru CVS.
I downloaded CVS and will look into xc/lib as I install it.
