Tuesday I downloaded the latest binaries of XFree 86 for cygwin (4_0_3).
I'm running this on a Windows NT (4.00.1381 SP3) machine.
X is a link to XWin.exe.
When starting a XDMCP session like:
X -query host -screen scrn 1280x1024xdepth
with depth of 16bits or 24bits.
I happens when either the host is a Linux i86 Red Hat machien or a HPUX 10.20
or 11 machine.
In 24bit it looks like the red and the blue are switched. on 16bit the colors
are more disturbed.
I suppose this is an endianess problem somewhere in the code.

and the other for which it wasn't.
