I think you MIGHT be able to figure out from the simple error
what actually might be happening, before you give up? :-)

Does it not mean the xf_dx.dll is not available to xwin.exe in the PATH?
You should have it it X11R6\bin and that directory should be in your PATH.

Thanks to all in this xfree list.
I have given up.
The only drivers they have are for NT3.1 or 3.5, not for NT 4.0.
I tried those from other site before, they don't work.
Probably I need to update my video card.
My PC is NT 4.0, SP6a, CL5430.
