Yes, crostool-NG still has the ability to build OABI toolchains.
I know that OABI is deprecated, but there are still systems out
there that use OABI, and for which upgrading to EABI is simply
not feasible.

as you point out OABI is deprecated but not obselete. There is world of applications in embedded systems where hardware and software requires much longer lifetimes.

This in one area where a tool like ct-ng is very useful.

I thank you for recognising the need to support OABI and encourage you to continue this policy.
