Yann, All,

Thanks for the clarification... so can I asume even if I have:

CT_PREFIX_DIR="/opt/x-tools/${CT_TARGET}"

in .config, crosstool-NG will provide the tuple even if I don't have
$CT_TARGET setup in the shell?

What happened if I use something other than the tuple in the first
place for $CT_TARGET during the initial 'ct-ng menuconfig'?
