[CT-NG] [RFC] EXPERIMENTAL features and snapshot versions

Hello All!

In a recent discussion, it appeared that having samples use features marked
as EXPERIMENTAL was not that good an idea.

Now, when a user recalls a snapshot that uses EXPERIMENTAL features, he/she
gets warned about it, and is advised to review the configuration before
going on.

Currently, in crosstool-NG, snapshot versions are guarded by EXPERIMENTAL,
which is a hint to the user that snapshots are to be considered with care
before being used.

On the other hand, some samples use a snapshot version of some components
(most notably uClibc) because no recent release is yet available, and the
snapshot is working well.

So, my question to the crosstol-NG users hanging around:
Should we keep snapshot versions guarded with EXPERIMENTAL, or not?

This applies to:
 - binutils 'point' snapshots (the ones like 2.18.x.y.z);
 - uClibc daily snapshots;
 - glibc weekly snapshots;
 - gdb latest snapshot.

Regards,
Yann E. MORIN.
