[PATCH 0/3] crosstool: linux 2.6.8 builds with gcc-3.4.2

Hi,

the following series of three patches seem to need to be
dropped into patches/linux-2.6.8/ in order for that kernel
to be compiled with gcc-3.4.2, and I assume other compilers
of that vintage.

I have verified this using powerpc-970.dat + gcc-3.4.2-glibc-2.3.3.dat,
though I assume it affects other configurations as well, not limited to
powerpc.

Please note that the first and second patches must be applied in order.
The third patch is really just a helper-patch, comments inline.
