yup, i'm pretty sure it does, just based on the name, naturally. it's
been a while since i've played with the NPTL stuff so my memory is a
bit fuzzy. as you can see, that patch isn't mine, it's kaz's. but
yes, you can push a copy back into glibc-2.3.5.

sorry, that attached patch wasn't in the final form that i submitted
it in -- i just tacked it onto that recent posting so others could see
what i was talking about. my *submitted* form of that patch
definitely had its provenance. i can resubmit if you wish.

i'll check on that and get back to you. i'm guessing glibc-2.3.5 and
2.3.6 at the very least.
