adding DESTDIR support to Python-2.2.3

Not sure I need this, so I'll post it to the list as
a way of archiving it :-)

Stuck at Python-2.2 and want to be able to specify DESTDIR=/path/to/target/root
when installing?
I spent a couple minutes backporting the DESTDIR patch

to python-2.2.3:
  http://www.kegel.com/crosstool/python/python-2.2.3-DESTDIR.patch
This is untested, but it should be easy to test...
