   Ooh! Thanks Dan.

We start final testing of a PPC850 (nofpu) gadget on Monday, and
are now very happy to have chosen newlib. (Not because glibc-2.3.2
has one detected bug, but "broken" suggests that there are not a lot
of ppc users outside the ppc-linux sphere, to road test it.)

I am curious about why __muldf3 is a problem? Does glibc-2.3.2 not
provide it? It was initially to provide this very function for our
gcc-2.95.3 generated code that we needed newlib, IIRC.

Regards,
Erik
