Thanks for the template.
Further, I find that you are using
AS=$(IXIA_CROSS_TOOL)gcc -ml instead of $(IXIA_CROSS_TOOL)as.
Is there a purpose for this or a typo.
In billgatliff.com, I found only gcc/ranlib/ar are taken care not as.
Throw some light on this.
