warning: "cpu" re-asserted

Hi there,

When building gcc 3.0.4 from host i686-linux (host compiler gcc 2.95.3)
for target sparc-elf, I receive dozens of messages equal the one below
during the execution of "make":

<command line>: warning: "cpu" re-asserted
<command line>: warning: "machine" re-asserted

Note: the string "<command line>:" is part of the message just as shown!

But that is not main the problem. The main problem is that those messages
keep appearing when I am *using* the compiled gcc. For instance:

----------------------------------------------------
bash$ sparc-elf-gcc -o test test.c
<command line>: warning: "cpu" re-asserted
<command line>: warning: "machine" re-asserted
bash$
----------------------------------------------------

The code is compiled successfully, though.

Does anyone know what those messages mean and why they always appear?

Thanks in advance,

Paulo Eduardo Ferreira de Castro
