---------- Forwarded Message ---------- Subject: problem about crossgcc for xscale at x86 mandrake linux 8.1 host Date: Fri, 26 Apr 2002 15:42:27 +0800 From: psp <sppeng@davworld.net> To: crossgcc@sources.redhat.com Dear all, i am building some cross gnu tools for xscale(board:pxa250) at x86 mandrake linux 8.1, i download gnupro source from http://developer.intel.com/design/intelxscale/dev_tools/010827 and configure --target=xscale-elf --prefix=mydir make install now i have some cross-gcc tools in my host, and build linux kernel 2.4.18(downloaded from monta vista, including two patchs) using them, download the kernel to target, the kernel is running and mount root fs is ok, all is ok. then i write a "hello world" program as init, and i can run it using xscale-elf-run which is a program of cross-gcc tools, but it don't run at target, why? when i build this program using arm-linux-elf-gcc which is prebuilt and downloaded from http://developer.intel.com/design/intelxscale/dev_tools/010827, it can run at target, why? ***************************************************************** sorry, arm-linux-elf-gcc 3.0 is downloaded from arm. ***************************************************************** i want your helps or advices, please. thanks in advance. with best regards niki ------ Want more information?
