Hello, Yes, indeed, thanks, NGC. This helps it somewhat further. Keeps on being stuck somewhat further now, though : now doesn't find stdio.h in libiberty subdir :( Could this have something to do with the patch I already had to implement (also didn't find stdio.h in 2 files before, necessitating that - documented - patch !). What's exactly is libiberty doing ? Is it a necessary part of the cross-compiler ? If not, I could safely add the same patch, making stdio.h not to be taken into account by the preprocessor (adding some extra similar preprocessor- defines as before, but now into the files 'choose-temp.c' and 'cplus-dem.c'?). If I do, I continue to run into consequent problems... Anyone any (further) clue ? Thanks again, Regards, Philippe Bertin. > -----Original Message----- > From: Goran Chutura [SMTP:ngcutura@yahoo.com] > Sent: maandag 19 november 2001 18:56 > To: Bertin, Philippe; crossgcc@sources.redhat.com > Subject: Re: "powerpc-elf-ar : not found" and "libgcc2.a" problem > (target 'mak e all' or 'make all-gcc') > > Hi, > > I had something similar building m68k-coff.
