Hi all I am a computer systems engineering student and use Red Hat Linux 7 to write C and Java code but I have little experience in administering RedHat since the standard installation works for me.....until now. I want to write C code for an Atmel AVR Microcontroller and having checked the target info on gcc, I have found that the gcc compiler in Redhat will compile for this target. However I don't know how to set gcc up as a cross compiler. I really need some very basic instructions (step by step if possible) on how to configure gcc as a compiler for the AVR target. I hope someone can help John Puddy Advanced Engineering Box 255, Building 116 GKN Westland Helicopters Yeovil Somerset BA20 2YB Tel: +44 (0) 1935 70 2287 Fax: +44 (0) 1935 703752 ------ Want more information?
