Re: Cross gcc for MIPS

I discovered this last night :( Its supported nicely by binutils but
not by gcc-2.95.2.

Hmm, this sounds a little confusing. The last time I built a cross
gcc, it was around 2.5.8, things were much easier then... I'll give it
a try tho with the 2.9-990321 release, if I can find it...

Not planning on using GDB, I've always used the tried and true printf
method for debugging. I'll lift the init files from NetBSD, or portions
of them anyway...

Yes, very nice PDA. 131 MHz VR4121, 16 Mbytes of RAM, 320x240 active
matrix display with 16 bit color! I have also added an NE2000 compatible
Ethernet adapter. I don't like WinCE much, although I like it better
than Win98 or WinNT. I've been working on a kernel thats perfect for
these devices and I believe I can do better. I've seen the Linux and
NetBSD ports and they seem a little large for these platforms, but of
course Moores Law should eliminate that problem very soon...

Thanks,
FM
