               I had also tryed to work on RTEMS for a i386 target.With various
tryes for a couple of months i was able to build RTEMS on a R.H. Linux 5.1 .I
Could not do it with other versions like 6.0 .....I came to know about a bug on
fixincludes in later versions.So one can try doing the same on RH Linux 5.1
Hope this will give you some help on RTEMS for a i386 target
with pc386 bsp.
