can't compile egcs 1.1.1 for H8 on Redhat 6.1

Subject: can't compile egcs 1.1.1 for H8 on Redhat 6.1

When compiling the egcs 1.1.1 as an H8 crosscompiler, it fails to compiler
the gcc/f/com.c file.
I get an error message i com.h line 144:

	#error Cannot find a suitable type for FFECOM_f2cLONGINT

I would appreciate if someone could help me with this problem
