Date: Wed, 5 Mar 1997 00:07:20 -0500 (EST) From: Bernie Doehner <bad@uhf.wireless.net> Who is the FAQ mantainer? Cynics would ask if you've read it because my name is in there, at the top. I would just say you probably overlooked it. Is this person on this mailing list? Yes. Without money going their way, I have found Cygnus to be rather unresponsive to questions regarding the cross compiler FAQ and am rather tempted to take over the FAQ. I can count the number of submitted enhancements to the FAQ on one hand .... GNU software is a community effort .... If someone submits a good enhancement to the FAQ, preferably as a ready to apply patch, I'll add it. Does anyone else think this would be beneficial? Or would you rather see all newcommers go through days of agony like I and Pedro did, because of badly outdated documentation? I'll cut a new FAQ this weekend, but "updating it" by simply changing all occurences of "binutils 2.6" to "binutils 2.7" [etc.] can hardly be a critical change.
