I did submit a request for assignment papers for the non-obvious
(well, it is "obvious" just "non-trivial") parameter addition for the
other work that I did for other compatibility (namely two patches, one
that adds a ld parameter to make the library name the same in the
import library and another that formats the long name properly in
archive files, which is null terminated in PE-COFF format archives and
not '/\n').
As soon as I submit the papers I shall post the patches for comment :)
