Thanks very much for telling us about this patch.  We would be
interested in including it in the binutils sources, but only if:

  1. You obtain a FSF copyright assignment, so that we can actually
     include it.

  2. You (or somebody else) volunteers to maintain the port.  Without
     this, the code will probably bit-rot away which would be a shame.

If you are interested in contributing the patch I have attached the
email form for applying for an FSF copyright notice at the end of this
email.
