Error building binutils from cvs

Hi ..

I tried to build binutils from CVS with --target=mips64-linux
--prefix=$PREFIX and I got this:

cd spu && ../../../../cvs/cygnus/src/utils/spu/configure
--cache-file=../config.cache --host=i686-pc-linux-gnu
--target=mips64-linux --with-gnu-as --with-gnu-ld --with-stabs
--prefix=/home/palic/Files/CrossCompiler/
--srcdir=../../../cvs/cygnus/src/utils --cache-file=../../config.cache
--srcdir=../../../../cvs/cygnus/src/utils/spu

It seems, that there is a missing Makefile?
Any hints to solve this?
