clashing symbols

- Subject: clashing symbols
There is a long standing bug in KDE which involves a symbol clash between
the proprietary flash plugin and libGLU1.so. libGLU1 is linked to by QT
and a wrapper program is used around the flash plugin. The flash plugin
seems to call the destructor ~DisplayList from libGLU1.so instead of its own.
Since I'm no expert on any of these low level things I was wondering if
anything can be done during link time of libGLU1 (or otherwise) to prevent
that the wrong function is called, since it usually leads to memory
corruption.
