When specifying a --help command-line option for the assembler, the -aL
option is listed.
-a[sub-option...] turn on listings
Sub-options [default hls]:
c omit false conditionals
d omit debugging directives
h include high-level source
l include assembly
m include macro expansions
n omit forms processing
s include symbols
L include line debug statistics (if
applicable)
=FILE list to FILE (must be last sub-option)
However, when trying to use the -aL command-line option, I receive the
following error:
Assembler messages:
Fatal error: invalid listing option `L'
I am using binutils version 2.11. Should the -aL option be removed from
the show_usage function? Or should a flag be set in the parse_args
function?
