With a hacked config.sub, here are the failures I get for pj-elf and
tic80-coff:
--pj--
ld/ld.sum:FAIL: weak undefined symbols
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: strings
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: pj
--tic80--
binutils/binutils.sum:FAIL: objcopy (simple copy)
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: IEEE FLT_MIN, single-precision
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: TIc80 simple relocs, global/local funcs & branches (relocs)
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: TIc80 simple relocs, static and global variables (code)
gas/testsuite/gas.sum:FAIL: TIc80 simple relocs, static and global variables (relocs)
The PJ `strings' failure looks like the same thing that afflicts AVR and CRIS.
I guess the targets that define IGNORE_NONSTANDARD_ESCAPES should probably all
mark this as XFAIL.
