Hi everyone, welcome to the Archer list.

I thought for the first note I would send out a few administrative
things about Archer:

For the time being there is just this one list.  If traffic gets too
overwhelming or if we want to separate different topics, we can make
new lists as needed.

The Archer web pages are maintained in the gdb wiki.  Feel free to
edit them; just use your best judgment.  For now there is just the
start of a page, we'll flesh it out more shortly:

I'm going to submit this list to gmane in just a couple minutes -- as
soon as the first note is delivered.

We don't have a git repository set up yet.  We'll do that soon.
