Symbol Versions

The GLIBC_PRIVATE version is reserved for private interfaces between the shared libraries that are part of glibc (so any interface changes are kept in lockstep). It is, for example, on some architectures not the appropriate symbol version for __mcount_internal which is referenced by any object that uses _mcount, and it thus needs to be properly versioned.
