Second-Tier Branch Conventions
The ibm/x.y release tagged branches are intended to provide IBM relevant backports to stable GLIBC release branches.
The ibm/master branch is intended as a development playground for patches developed by IBM with the intention of being pushed upstream.
IBM does not support, build, or deliver any official branches of GLIBC and therefore contribution to these branches is closed.
If you are looking to submit code to GLIBC be sure to use the recognized process for inclusion by submitting patches upstream to the libc-alpha mailing list.
