Description Francesco Cosoleto 2009-03-30 14:26:48 UTC
Hi,

Do anyone want change this sample name with anything more funny or professional
or harmless?

16.6.2 Host Addresses
[...]
"Each computer also has one or more host names, which are strings of words
separated by periods, as in ‘mescaline.gnu.org’."

Thanks,
Francesco Cosoleto

I don't see a problem here but I suppose example.org exists for a purpose and we could use www.example.org here instead. Comments?
Comment 2 Roland McGrath 2012-02-21 19:39:15 UTC
I'd say we should use www.gnu.org or prep.ai.mit.edu, not that there is anything wrong with the existing example.

Use www.gnu.org as example hostname in manual (bug 10014).
