The binutils 2.24 introduces some changes for MIPS16 and microMIPS that break debugging with GDB 7.6.1 (compared to binutils 2.23). http://www.sourceware.org/ml/gdb-patches/2013-11/msg00651.html A GDB 7.6.2 release should be created to help users switching to binutils 2.24 have an official release they can use. And for the record, GDB 7.7 will also support binutils 2.2.4

Thank you for sharing your talent with everyone. You are an inspiration. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed reading your blog posts. https://cairnskitchenrenovations.com/

The program being debugged was signaled while in a function called from GDB.^M GDB has restored the context to what it was before the call. https://www.queencreekartificialgrass.com/

Root cause: http://www.mesa-artificial-grass.com Although this is using the correct offset (ERET register's), it is also changing the REGNUM itself. Therefore, raw_collect (regnum, ...) is not reading from "pc" anymore.
I was wondering the same thing with my software. Glad I found someone with a solution. Thanks a bunch, and if you need our services in the future, do not hesitate to ask. Greg, https://www.ahcarpenter.com/
